tuition:
Need some help? We all do sometimes, and it really does not matter whether you are a complete beginner or someone who would like to brush up on your skills or catch up on the latest technology and software… I genuinely can help.
The word "tuition" isn’t one I particularly like; it makes me picture someone just standing there, talking non-stop while you try to absorb everything, and honestly, that’s not for me, and I doubt it’s for you either!
So… what exactly do I do that makes a difference?
I simply listen carefully to what you want to achieve, and then I work alongside you to make that happen. Whether you’re at home or abroad, learning in a group or as an individual, I can truly support you in reaching your goals and getting the most out of your creative journey.

the difference:
What do I offer? My primary focus is on you and your individual needs.
Whether you join small groups abroad or participate via Zoom, I tailor every aspect to ensure you always know the next step to take.
Group sizes are intentionally limited to just 6 people to strike the perfect balance between individual support and hands-on photo practice.
Beginners never feel overwhelmed or left behind, while more experienced participants often enjoy exchanging helpful tips and insights.
In the UK, I provide one-to-one lessons either in person or through Zoom.
We can meet on location for practical shooting sessions or at my home studio, which offers an ideal environment for detailed editing and professional printing.
supportive learning environment:
WhatsApp: I won’t leave you high and dry!
When you join one of my courses, you will receive an exclusive invite to become a member of a dedicated WhatsApp group.
In this group, you can ask questions, share your photos, and engage in conversations with fellow photographers.
It’s a friendly space where you can exchange hints, tips, and advice, ensuring you will never be left without support or guidance.
why choose me?
Indeed, why choose me? I bring over 40 years of experience as a working photographer, a journey that began with proper training in a London studio.
From there, I went on to work for most of the national newspapers, gaining invaluable experience along the way.
During this period, I served as a Royal Rota photographer, capturing significant moments for the nation.
Following this, I moved into TV stills photography, spending four years shooting on The Big Breakfast, two years on Big Brother, and later on The Graham Norton Show.
Alongside this, I spent many years shooting bands in London, from the Spice Girls to The Rolling Stones.
Then came a pivotal moment in my career—20 years ago, I left London with a clear decision: no more picture editors. I chose to shoot for myself, embarking on an incredible journey into travel and street photography.
This new chapter has taken me around the world, allowing me to apply skills I didn’t even realise I had developed over the years.
Before the Covid pandemic, I began offering tuition, which proved highly successful.
I led photography trips across Northern India, the Nevada Desert, numerous adventures throughout Europe, and many inspiring days around the UK.
This experience has enriched both my work and my connection with fellow photography enthusiasts, making the journey all the more rewarding.
