“Manchester is my adopted home city and a constant source of inspiration. Its abundance of Victorian architecture is a wonderful photographic subject. A favourite area has to be the Northern Quarter with its warehouses complete with original fire escapes and narrow streets with graffiti-covered walls.
The Manchester Ship Canal from Piccadilly down to Castlefield is a great walk for any photographer looking for views of the city and a mix of original buildings. Castlefield itself has incredible Victorian iron bridges and is an area which I’ve photographed many times and still continue to visit.”
